  Global Management Trainee - CSR

  - Management Trainee to understand the various business operations of the conglomerate.- Initiated and implemented corporate social responsibility initiatives of the conglomerate. These projects include: Charity Begins @ Home (CB@H) with purpose supporting MGH employees with monthly income less than Taka 15,000 per month to educate their children. Conducted a survey of 500 employees working in offices across Dhaka, to assess the need and eligibility. The project is currently providing financial support to 200 employees for the education of their children. Another project includes Legal Aid Society for Unfortunate where people were given legal services at subsidized or free of cost to those who could not afford to hire a lawyer. The project successfully exonerated 8 prisoners who were punished without adequate evidence.- Worked closely with Global Human Resource Director to implement Performance Management and Appraisal assessment of employees working in functional areas such as sales, customer relationship, documentation, Finance Taxation, and planning & development. I gathered key performance indicators from each of the functional divisions and incorporated it in the system.- Planned, organized and conducted Job Fair in North South University, Dhaka. Developed Student Information System to create a database of all those applying for jobs at MGH. This system was used to shortlist CVs based on cumulative grade point averages (CGPA).- Developed and implemented Employee Satisfaction Survey for the 500 employees working Dhaka office.- Business development by building partnerships with new clients.   Fatima Memorial System

  - Head of the department; lead team of 3 people.Responsible for strategic planning, development, and implementation of operational and strategic projects of Fatima Memorial Hospital (FMH).- Develop department-wise growth strategy, business plan, and financial feasibility analysis for the hospital by working closely with the head of departments.- Building strategic partnerships to create synergies: instrumental in formulizing collaborations with Hijaz Hospital, Amin Maktab and Fountain House for the training of students of medical, dental and allied health science colleges. Partnered with Jahanara Memorial Trust for provision of emergency care services, free of cost, to those who cannot afford to pay.- Developed and won the grant proposal for Punjab Skills Development Fund project for FMH. The project provides funds for vocational training of 200 students in the fields of Dental Technology, Medical Lab Technology, Dispensary, Physiotherapy, and Midwifery with FMH as its implementing partner.- Worked closely with Chairperson to develop a partnership between Fatima Memorial System, its sister organization NUR Foundation (together known as NUR-FMS) and University of Louisville, USA for launch of Master of Public Health program in Pakistan.- Responsible for organizing and conducting regular meetings of Hospital Operations and Development Committee, Dental Hospital Operations & Development Committee, Medical Services Committee, Surgical Services Committee, Emergency Room Development Committee, and Diagnostics Services Committee.- Successful projects include enhancement of emergency & critical care services, enhancement of pediatric services, installation of CT scan machine, update policy for non-paying patients, and implement physician credentialing process as well as department-wise productivity analysis at FMH. Also developed business plan for the launch of Private Dental Hospital and sent for review and approval of executive management committee at FMH.   Doctoral Researcher - Gender Equality and Diversity Equity and Inclusion in Global Healt

  - My research focuses on gender inequality regimes within global health organizations. I apply organizational sociology and behavioral science to study gender related trends within global health organizations. I also focus on women's leadership in global health - studying the barriers women face in achieving positions of leadership and enabling factors within organizations that create gender equal equality at workplace.   Co-facilitate and run life design programs for undergraduate and graduate students at Tulane University. Co-founded Taylor Your Life (TYL) for Graduate Students program at Tulane that works with Masters level and PhD students to "Taylor" their life course by applying methods and mindsets of design thinking (human centered design) to career development. In the TYL journey, students identify multiple life paths, clarify their interests, focus and target their search, prototype and test changemaking careers, learn how to market and brand themselves to stand out from the crowd, map their community to effectively join the network of movers and shakers in their field, and design a life that makes a positive difference in the world and is “TAYLORed” to their unique life and personality.
