  I founded BridgeIT in 2006 with at group of partners. The company focus was IT and Management consulting, focusing on enabling danish customers to efficiently prepare for and integrate offshore resources into their SW production.BridgeIT always had a mobile technology focus. During the financial crisis and with the introduction of smartphones we turned the company from consulting to in-house mobile solutions projects. Further with the introduction of the BridgeIT Mobile Platform the business also offers SAAS services, 24/7 support services and a support and development center in Criova, Romania.I was responsible for designing the mobile platform that introduces central cloud services and mobile device components. The platform gives BridgeIT a significant advantage in the market as it improves production and maintenance costs, and also ease the integration of customer legacy services with minimal affect on customer production systems.Further I was responsible for establishing what was required to support the project and service business.This includes building a 'super Agile' Scrum based mulitisite development process enabling us to efficiently execute project ranging from large to very small. The model is robust and allows us to run projects efficiently where all project includes resources from our site in Romania, local resources as well as customer resources.Delivering maintenance and support to our customers my responsibilities also covered establishing software and project management policies and tools. The task is to lead the team operating in an environment that is being transitioned to agile development methods, ensuring scope, managing backlog, burndown etc. As the project is transitioning into agile, part of the work is also the bridging of traditional agile tools, artifacts and activities into company processes, managing tools, customer and management reporting (e.g. progress reports, roadmap planning, hour reporting, project economy etc.).The transitional situation require strong leadership to ensure team productivity with new methods, ways of specification and ways of working. A central part is establishing a product backlog providing the full overview, to ensure that work is done in the best possible sequence and to provide necessary transparency to produce realistic progress reporting.
