  Tampere University of Technology is one of the top universities in Finland and our students' voice is widely heard when it comes to making changes into our educational strategies. I was the responsible of educational affairs, which led me to prepare our students for mandatory course feedback (implemented in fall 2014), for example. The rollout of mandatory feedback system went smoothly with no bigger issues.

Whenever there was extra time, I attempted to find ways to develop my courses further via using electronic services and other possibilities.   I worked as solution consultant and a professional Blue Prism developer. My main tasks lied in defining and enforcing the best practice in our company through 5 countries. I wanted to help people to create the best software robots and make sure they learn in the progress. In the side I also tackled knowledge management issues in our company by defining and improving our communication methods, knowledge sharing and other vital aspects of professional services.I automated business processes with Blue Prism software, from defining the processes to developing the actual software robot and moving it into production. I also worked as level 3 support in tickets sent to our run management.I supported clients in building their own robotics Center of Excellence and worked as a part of CoE, with aim in shortening RPA-development lead times ensuring the quality and maintainability of software robots.   In Gofore I have worked in very different projects ranging from Scrum Master/Project owner to RPA Lead and AWS architect. My longest ongoing project was setting up a new RPA unit for a big client in the media industry. I was founding the Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence, working as a one-man DevOps team. I was part of the core team from the very beginning and helped them to develop their internally offered process automation service from zero to the current ongoing system. Together with our team we documented the best practices, designed the processes from analysis phase to releasing and managing the budgets. I was also responsible for deliveries done to several different business functions, making sure everyone knows what they should know and tackling possible blockers encountered in development.Everything was running on the AWS platform I designed, built and maintained for 2 years. Infrastructure was written in Terraform. Despite the environment mostly running in AWS, repositories were created in Azure DevOps and pipelines ran as a combination of Azure DevOps pipelines and AWS Lambda. Workloads were managed in Jira and Monday.com. I automated as much of the work as possible, so everyone could focus on their daily work instead of having to worry if the environment works or not. The IA orchestrator I maintained was a pre-made package running in Kubernetes. Show less
