  Delineated the first loan program, Enterprise Development Fund (EDF), for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Iraqi rural areas. Used matching learning techniques such as Random Forest to automatically classify firms to receive the loan based on historical data of EDF recipients.

  At the World Bank, I worked on monitoring the data collection process and implementing the evaluation of an on-the-job training strategy to increase the skills of the historically discriminated population in South Africa.   At Harvard Business School Reskilling Lab, I lead the MEL strategy to evaluate the impact of employee training programs on reducing opportunity gaps related to socio-economic and educational backgrounds. I conduct data-driven assessments across diverse industries, including automotive (Germany), construction and insurance (Colombia), and agriculture (Mexico), to study On-the-Job (OJT) training programs.I worked at the Harvard Kennedy School Growth Lab with Ricardo Hausman and a team of 15 people. My research studied how immigration laws limit high-skilled migration and widen the technological gap in developing countries. Show less

  I monitor and evaluate unconditional cash transfer programs in nine African countries. I led the original data collection and presented results to stakeholders and internal program managers. I design randomized control trials (RCTs) to estimate the programs' impact on reducing poverty.I also support the fundraising team in elaborating research designs and causal evaluation plans. I secured $10 million in funding from USAID for two transformative projects in Mozambique, focusing on povertyalleviation through climate-smart agriculture initiatives. Show less
