      While in this role I led a turnaround effort across the plant site aimed at improvements in human interaction. Using foundational HR practices plus advanced OD approaches we dramatically improved the quality of our employee population and the the quality of the organization's delivery. In this role I created a T&D function. Accountability expanded to include the entire organization in the US and Canada. Professional trainers were hired and relationships were established with leading training providers. In particular, a productive relationship was established with the Saturn car company whereby we co-trained leadership courses using their experiential ropes courses.
