  As part of a definitive care team at a regional level-1 trauma center, I gained unparalleled experience treating critically ill patients. Supporting physicians, nurses, and other providers, I worked cohesively with others in a dynamic setting▪ Serving as preceptor, I facilitated the training of new technicians and encouraged skill development within a positive learning environment▪ Created educational tools for staff to learn about products used in acute trauma and critical care cases▪ Cardiac Champion – as part of a quality improvement team, I helped adjust department workflows to improve EKG turnaround times within 10 minutes of patient arrival from 40% to 83% (Dec 21 - Jan 22)▪ Hypothermia Management Project - A large contributor to mortality and morbidity in trauma patients is hypothermia.
