  The Hoboken Project is an initiative by the School of Business at Stevens, in which students provide pro-bono consulting services to local small businesses. It began as a way to provide COVID-19 relief for the community and has grown to be a larger, ongoing project, fostering a strong relationship between Stevens and Hoboken businesses.Responsibilities and Involvement• Collaborate with peers and faculty to offer COVID-19 relief via pro-bono student consulting,working with the City of Hoboken, the Hoboken Business Alliance, and small business owners• Create marketing copy for our project that has been distributed to 376 local businesses,yielding a 36% open rate and 25 unique responses through an attached Google Form• Draft a Zoom script and help conduct 30 client interviews, engaging with small businessowners in order to understand their pain points and allocate our resources accordingly• Research the Cares Act and government funding opportunities from the PPP and SBA to guidelocal businesses through the process of securing funds and achieving loan forgiveness• Analyze NJMLS property data in Excel to target assets by projecting monthly cash-flow Show less
