The subject of the project is the application of a Wiremesh measurement instrument in a single phase liquid flow in a rod bundle geometry comparable to the geometry in the core of a nuclear power plant. For this research the capabilities of wiremesh instruments in single phase flow is being investigated as well as that a wiremesh is being custom designed, made and applied for the specific case of a rod bundle flow.
