  The BackPack Program provides at-risk Black Hills area children with food for the weekend, when they do not have access to free meal programs at schools. For the 2014-2015 school year, we will be providing approximately 1850 bags of food each week to these children. Key Responsibilities include:• Administrative duties associated with Feeding South Dakota volunteers; including collection, input and organization of necessary forms, and monthly and annual tracking of in-kind volunteer hours for all programs.• Volunteer recruitment, training and scheduling for all Feeding South Dakota programs.• Coordination of all operations as related to the BackPack Program; including food procurement; inventory management and system development, implementation, and management.• Fund development through public speaking and grant writing, as well as event coordination.
