  As a customer service representative, I helped customers with everything that involved renting a vehicle. Handling returns after the rental period ended, I often had to go through the unpleasant procedure of charging customers for damages that occurred during their rental period. I mention this specifically because these were perhaps the hardest circumstances I've had to deal with in my customer service experience. It taught me to how to better handle difficult and highly emotional situations.

  Started a small tour company with a friend. We bought two modified trucks with the hopes of introducing some of Icelands' beautiful places to the island’s eager visitors. After a few successful tours with excellent customer reviews, one of our trucks broke down, which among other reasons, resulted in the end of our adventurous start up.

My role started out as selling tickets to the companies popular boat excursions, I was quickly promoted to being the second shift manager, which included managing bookings, phone and email communications, and organizing the boat tours.
