  I was working in the design and drawing team as a CAD and Engineering Intern. Here I worked closely with the other CAD technicians and engineers supporting the set up then current. I was expected to produce outstanding work to specific project briefs and to tight deadlines. I used my knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D and experience in all traditional materials, steel, masonry, timber and concrete to produce construction drawings. I was expected to demonstrate excellent team working skills and be comfortable with organizing my own time and workload while at the same time be an innovative thinker who is comfortable suggesting ideas and considering new ways to improve work processes. A brief description of my work was as follows:1. Develop and detail structural and civil engineering drawings in 2D or 3D as may be required2. Prepare bar bending schedules3. Taking of site measurements and surveying4.
