Bridging the gap to leadership – is a project gathering and evaluating experiences of BAME students in practice placements University level and developing resources (toolkit - addressing microaggressions, racism, unconscious bias and equality issues, focus groups, podcast, training and workshop materials) for training practitioners and supporting students to enhance their practice learning experiences. Furthermore, delivering our findings on multiple national world clinical conferences I’m also proud to say the Bridging The Gap To Leadership project has been recognised by various forms of education across the UK and was nominated and won University alliance award of the year.
