      Joined as a summer intern under the supervision of Dr Niraj Rai. The internship revolves around the field of paleopathology. I could start a project titled " A Molecular Investigation Of Tuberculosis In The Neolithic Settlement of Burzahom", where we investigated the molecular proof of Tuberculosis using high throughput sequencing data of ancient DNA and metagenomic analysis at The Neolithic Site of Burzahom and analysed the phylogenetic relationship of the identified M. tuberculosis sequence.During my internship, I got the opportunity to organise, participate and present at the conference “Scientific Approach to South Asian Archeology (SASAA’22)” hosted by Birbal Sahni Institute of Paleaosciences and the University of Chicago collaboratively in Goa.
