      The Career Coordinator position was funded through the State of Maryland to help bridge the gap between school and work. Kenwood High School received a 3 year grant that we extended to an 8 year grant based on the data we gathered. My primary role was part time Career Counselor and part time Teacher. This role also included event planning and management. Developed, implemented and directed school-wide career events which included: Job Fair, Career Day, Completer Fair, and Open HouseFacilitated, organized and instructed all staff on a 3 day career event which consisted of 80 business professionals, 160 staff members and 1800 students.Recruited 120 business personnel yearly for varies career activities for the school.Taught real world lessons to mulitple DisciplinesAdditional roles: JV Volleyball coach and Head Volleyball Coach Show less
