  GPN has worked hard to bring the message of Gandhi to N Dakota primarily through school based activities directed at the youth of the state. Past activities have included Gandhi Peace Dinner, Peace through Art, Peace Post cards, Peace pole plantings and annual re dedications at multiple locations in Bismarck and the Annual Season for Nonviolence. (www.agnt.org), Peace Poetry writing workshops in elementary schools, scholarships for United Tribes Technical College students, Artist in Residency programs and Conflict resolution workshops, screening of movies with a peace theme (with Cinema 100). GPN has formed coalitions with other peace groups in the state working to promote nonviolent conflict resolution and helped to successfully pass a peace resolution in the last legislative session.
