  our service is unique, its run by "parents" for "parents", we support parents and their family who care for a son or daughter who lives at home and has learning disabilities, we offer a one stop shop of advice and information around benefits and services, housing, personal budgets planning,,nothing is too big or small, if we don't have the information we will find it for that family, we firstly offer complete identification, emotional and practical support. We are on hand 7 days a week 24 hrs a day with our out of hours telephone service, we have been running successfully in Rochdale for almost 5 years now (Nov 2013). when most small voluntary groups were loosing funding we were lucky enough to have the support of our local council and so far have kept our funding.   I help and support parents who have a son or daughter with learning disabilities.I have been supporting families for over 25yrs. I am also a parent of 2 daughters one who happens to be born with profound learning and physical disabilities. I understand the needs of parents. We are a unique service that is run by parents for parents and offer a 24hr telephone support service, we are a registered charity.
