  Attended prejob meetings, wroteand checkedmobilisation reports, equipment reports and end of job reports, trained new surveyors, used GIS software to check current seabed infrastructure, performed USBL calibrations and multibeam patch tests. On many projects I was also responsible for completing multibeam echo sounder processing using Caris software. Also gained a lot of trouble shooting experience. This role involved working 12 hour shifts as part of a team and monitoring the real time navigation and sensor data using in-house V5 software, keeping nonline logs, equipment maintenance and calibrations, training of new surveyors, checking and processing data, communicating to other members of the team, health and safety risk assessments and report writing.

  During the two years at Bibby Hydromap I have mostly worked on UXO surveys using QINSyrecording package. I have gained valuable experience assisting with deck operations while deploying Scanfish, magnetometers and side scan sonar. I have been involved with vessel installations, calibrating USBL systems, calibrating magnetometers, writing setup documents, installation reports, mob reports and procedures.
