      My thesis explored Feminism in Ireland from the mid-19th century through the late 20th century. I argued that Ireland's experience with feminism does not follow the current "waves" model. I advocated for more flexible language/definitions of waves in feminist history and theory to more accurately describe how a country or culture experiences feminism.       Activities and Societies: Phi Alpha Theta VOX: Voices for Planned Parenthood As an undergraduate, I specialized in modern women's history with particular attention paid to reproductive rights. I assisted in establish a VOX: Voices for Planned Parenthood chapter on campus and led my chapter in a Planned Parenthood training conference in 2014.       As an Oral Historian and Project Liaison for the Histories of Choice Project, I conducted and transcribed oral histories of women who had abortions pre-Roe v. Wade. In this project, we explored the shifting narrative around rape culture in America from the 1950s up until today through mediums that typically go unnoticed by scholars. I assisted in the creation of a zine collection at FGCU by forging relationships with local artists.
