  Oral Historian

  As an Oral Historian and Project Liaison for the Histories of Choice Project, I conducted and transcribed oral histories of women who had abortions pre-Roe v. Wade. I trained students on oral history methadologies, conducted research, conducted outreach, and spoke at several events about the project.

  As a graduate intern at the Florida Gulf Coast University's Archives, Special Collections, and Digital Initiatives, I worked as a co-curator for the Spring 2018 show, "Rape Culture: Zines and Artists' Books." In this project, we explored the shifting narrative around rape culture in America from the 1950s up until today through mediums that typically go unnoticed by scholars. I assisted in the creation of a zine collection at FGCU by forging relationships with local artists. I developed a new workflow for Digital Commons to increase intellectual control over materials in our repository. I served as a liaison for projects on campus seeking to create a repository of their work.
