As a new skill, I played the piano from the start of the program till the end. It gives me opportunity to explore my artistic side and have a calmer state of mind when encoutering problems. For the ‘physical recreation’ part, I have engaged in tennis and volleyball. From these two sports, I learned the importance of teamwork and also the need for focus, agility and tactics in playing the games. To give back to the society, volunteering in the community provides a great platform. I helped people in need by tutoring the children and helping in the library. Engaging in the adventurous journey has enabled me to notice my weaknesses and gained new skills. Throughout the program, I can see that I have become stronger and have greater willpower after each adventure. I also learnt the essential survival skills such as map reading, cooking and first-aid skills. It also improved my teamwork ability and provided the responsibility to ensure that everything and everyone are doing well. Show less
