      Shift Hyperloop is an independent non-profit organization founded by students at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. We operate on a 1-year cycle where each year we enlist a new team that is tasked with designing and building a hyperloop pod that will compete in the European Hyperloop Week (EHW). The goal is to significantly reduce the carbon emissions related to the transportation of both humans and goods.I have been fortunate to be selected for the Shift Hyperloop team 2022 and will continue my journey with team 2023. As part of the Structural team, my fellow teammate and I are responsible for designing and thoroughly proof testing a dampening system which will reduce vibrations and shock from the I-beam track. Hence, allowing the Hyperloop Pod to withstand a high-speed track run.For our well-engineered and innovative suspension system on the Hyperloop Pod, we were nominated and placed top 5 in the 'Guiding Subsystem Award' at the European Hyperloop Week 2022.       Summer Internship

      Operation and Maintenance (O&M)I spent six fantastic weeks working as a Maintenance Management summer intern at Equinor MMP OPL. This internship was an incredible learning experience and greatly increased my knowledge about the company and its values #open, #courageous, #collaborative and #caring.I sincerely thank Rune Waage for giving me this wonderful opportunity and for assigning me a challenging yet rewarding project. Along the process, I have learned deeply about maintenance management practices on the onshore plants operated by Equinor and the management system ARIS.I also got the opportunity to visit and get an insight into one of Equinor’s onshore gas processing plant Kårstø, along with other interns. I got to test and gain hands-on experience with various robot and drone technologies used for inspection purposes. It was fascinating to see how this technology contributes to a safe working environment and allows for efficient inspection. Show less
