      Created screens and updated windows in Microsoft Visual Studio for the company's software program by using C++ programming. Updated the company's software through a ftp versioning program. Helped clients trough a ticketing system that would track errors or issues with the company's software, then would update/commit new versions of the software to satisfy the clients needs.

      The Colab: The Lory Student Center Marketing Shop, is a graphic design / marketing firm associated with Colorado State University that helps businesses around or associated with the University find the best way to market their product, service, or company to Fort Collins and sometimes all of Northern Colorado community. The Colab (short for collaboration) is geared towards creating a connection with the client, establishing their general needs, and providing more than what they asked for in means of print, digital, web, social media, and guerilla forms of marketing. At The Colab I have a lot of responsibilities when it comes to generating a successful product for the client. The usual project task list includes: 1. Setting up an initial client meeting.2. Figuring out what the client desires in forms of marketing.3. Generating a design.4. Possibly rebranding the client if necessary.5. Going back and forth with the client to generate the best possible draft design.6. Finalizing the design.7. Setting up the design for all the different forms of marketing, such as posters, handbills, big event banners, web banners, email blasts, etc.8. Setting up invoices for time and billing client.9. Following up to figure out what we could do in the future to make a more successful project or client relationship.The Colab helps me push myself, in the sense that it forces me to be more than just a designer, by helping me use professional business skills to deal with clients and establish a relationship for future work, as well as it forces me to be a marketer for my client, and also it helps me work on my time management, as I juggle multiple projects for different clients at once. This includes providing industry insight as to what companies are looking for and considering when evaluating ideal Graphic Design or Multimedia Arts candidates in the hiring process. This board would also discuss tools, equipment, and other budgetary items the university would need to consider for future semesters. Additionally, the board will evaluate core skillsets that need to be included in the course work to provide fundamental skills that are desirable by a wide variety of companies and positions.
