Introduced or refined processes for contractor valuations and payments, estimating, procuring subcontractors, and contract management. Procured contractors for voids, temporary accommodation, drainage and electrical works. This ensured compliance with council standing orders, improved value for money and developed a contract based approach to management. Produced monthly valuations and financial reports for subcontractors and senior management. Advised on business model and future ways of working. During this period I also embarked on the level 5 course with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). Across 4 contractors this work covered door entry and fire safety, periodic testing and remedial work, and communal/emergency lighting across the borough ca £4.5m pa. Procured £100m heating and water contract alongside commercial manager. This involved writing tender documents, information day for tenderers, administration of tender process throughout, tender evaluation and feedback to contractors. Assisted in upgrade project to fit sprinkler systems throughout our 20 sheltered housing units. Administered quotation process across engineering and repairs services.
