  I represented my school in the 13th MACFAIR International organized by City Montessori School, Lucknow. I was a part of the two-man team to take part in the MAC tutor event where participants made a presentation to explain a topic of science to the audience. My partner and I made a presentation of the detection methods of exoplanets.

  JENESYS 2018 by JICE

  Member of Team Bangladesh

  Japan-East Asia Network for Exchange of Students and Youths (JENESYS) is a 10 days long exchange program organized by Japan International Co-operation Centre (JICE). Five high-schoolers were selected from four of the best high-schools in Dhaka to represent Bangladesh. I was selected from my school after a series of essay competitions and interviews.We experienced the Japanese culture through the homestay program, and learned about some of their policies and technology through visits. We disseminated our learnings through writings, posts, and seminars during the three months after our return. Show less

  Notre Dame Eco and Space Club

  Vice President Publications

  I was a member of Notre Dame Eco & Space Club, one of the pioneering Space clubs in Bangladesh. Most of my contribution was to the publication department- writing articles and reports about our events. I also conducted seminars and made presentations. Fortunately, I was able to earn the position of vice-president in the publication department. As a vice-president of the club I had the key role of organizing the olympiads in the annual festival of our session- the 3rd National Earth & Space Summit. My team did a really good job, and we had a great festival, so I think I was not a total misfit for my role. Apart from some great lessons on leadership and teamwork, NDESC found me some great friends, and a few tons of confidence. Show less

  I worked on a project lead by Dr Nor Shahida Binti Hasan of MJIIT. We hoped to develop an algorithm to predict stock market performances. Unfortunately, the project fell through because of scheduling conflicts.

  Onnorokom group has a new project Utkorsho, and I was on the physics team of that project. The goal was to develop a new and better way of learning physics. On the team, my role is to develop questions that are totally different from current structures. Questions that tackled the roots of student's difficulties instead of just getting them to practice.
