  Ramp technician and customer service agent

  During my time at Frobisher Bay Touchdown Services in Iqaluit, Nunavut, I had the unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with customer service skills as both a Ramp Technician and Customer Service Agent. In my role as a Ramp Technician, I managed the safe and efficient handling of aircraft, including marshalling, parking and servicing. I operated ground support equipment such as belt loaders, GPUs, and air stairs to facilitate aircraft operations. Additionally, with the teams assistance, I helped with the loading and unloading of baggage, and cargo as well as the transportation of passengers to their desired destination in Iqaluit. As a Customer Service Agent, I provided friendly and professional assistance to passengers, as well as maintained positive communication between the FBO and customers through email and phone. We worked to meet the customers specific requests, whether that be giving them a tour around town, taking them out to eat, or booking a hotel for them. This experience allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of airport operations and enhanced my ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. It also strengthened my problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality service. Show less
