  I worked as a Mental Health Counselor where I held group therapy sessions where clients were free to express their feelings and discuss what was happening in their lives. I encouraged them to develop insight into their situation and their relationships. Through daily group topics, I helped guide them in the development of life skills and strategies for dealing with their problems including communication, self-esteem, stress and anger. Besides providing emotional support, I also had gained experience in the ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate with others. Above all, I always advocated for my clients.
