  Performed as a member of a software engineering team focused on building a web application that digitized the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of power turbine components. The success of this product lead to the adoption of our software by one of GE's other businesses, GE Aviation. As part of that transition, my team configured our product to be used in GE Aviation's MRO shops to track the repair and overhaul of various engine components. This led to engine components completing the inspection process up to 30% faster than the manual process our product replaced. My specific focus in this role was building the UI using JavaScript, Angular 2+, Bootstrap, and writing unit and end-to-end tests. My performance earned me a promotion to Staff Software Engineer where I began leading scrum teams and help gather requirements with my product owner. Show less

This role has me developing a web application used by both GE Power and GE Aviation to execute on maintenance, repair, and overhaul service delivery models. My specific contributions include building the front-end of the application using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and interfacing with endpoints provided by back-end engineers to perform CRUD operations. Additionally, both unit and end-to-end tests were written using Protractor, Karma, and Chai to ensure code quality and stability. Other responsibilities include leading all scrum ceremonies, developing an action plan for user technical support, and coordinating with other teams to ensure best practices are being followed across pods. My performance in this role earned me a promotion to Senior Software Engineering Manager where I lead 20+ engineers to build business critical software for our customers. Show less
