The Way Ahead transformed the way the Navy provides message traffic systems that support surface and shore commands. Along with providing guidance and standardization of procedures in operating Defense Messaging Systems (DMS) and identifying issues of concerns.- Represented NNWC at the Defense Messaging System Operations Group (DMSOG) meeting. Joint Staff level meeting used for reviewing OPNAV operational budgets for all service agencies. He plans, coordinates and directs the division to meet JTF-GNO and DISA establish performance levels and to answer all global queries regarding Navy’s messaging performance.
