      Volunteered with the Communications and Fundraising department of the Irish Cancer Society for the Daffodil Day campaign 2017.Daffodil Day is Ireland's largest fundraising event and 2017 marked the 30th year of the campaign. It was extremely rewarding to actively be a part of the charity's largest and most successful campaign. On Daffodil Day (24/03/17), I was part of the team at the 'Garden of Hope', and helped co-ordinate the site, gathered donations, informed members of the public and sold merchandise.       A snapshot of current work includes Bord Bia Bloom, Food Matters Live, Ballymaloe Foods, McCormack Family Farms, providing communications training to Irish businesses. Co-ordinated content curation and management of &Smyth Climate Hub, a new digital resource that provides Irish businesses with helpful information and guides to help them start their journey in addressing the climate crisis. Acknowledging our own limitations when it comes to the climate, we have pulled vital organisations, websites, reports and resources to provide a launchpad for users - sharing knowledge of the great work being done in this space, and in return asking others to also contribute to make the hub an ever-living, ever growing repository.
