As the Assistant Residence Manager, I oversaw over 24 Residence Assistants, ensuring the quality of their work. As the Assistant Residence Manager, I was responsible for motivating and training the Residence Manager in leadership, excellence, and hard work. As the Residence Manager and a policy enforcer, part of the job is ensuring students are within college guidelines and following necessary procedures.   I am currently the Residence Manager of a college dorm of over 800 students. The Residence Manager ensures the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the building. The Residence Manager is required to display good communication skills throughout the vast departments at Pensacola Christian College. As the Residence Manager, I oversee over 24 Residence Assistants, ensuring the quality of their work. As the Residence Manager, I was responsible for motivating, training, and leading the Residence Assistants in leadership, excellence, and hard work. As the Residence Manager I also ensure students are within college guidelines and following necessary procedures. The Residence Manager is responsible for deescalating tense situations between students, as well as motivating them to change bad behavior. The Residence Manager makes schedules for all the workers and is required to display proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams, Forms, and more. The Residence Manager sees the vision for the building and strategizes ways to accomplish the goals he lays.
