While I am deeply saddened to see this amazing organization lose its footprint in Colorado, I am excited to pursue a new leadership and development role with a nonprofit or for profit organization. At March of Dimes, I served as the territory executive responsible for leading and mentoring a high quality, mission focused team of 7 staff and a team of 14-20 dedicated leadership volunteers to achieve targeted revenue, mission and advocacy goals. Not only was I responsible for ensuring the revenue goals of my territory were met, but I was also responsible to be the primary voice and ambassador for March of Dimes, lead mission outreach and investment support conversations and keep a close pulse on advocacy and legislative activities throughout the area for policies that could impact moms and babies – negatively and positively. • Created numerous opportunities for new and enhanced revenue streams, targeting major gift and individual giving prospects, corporate support, grant funding, peer to peer fundraising and workplace giving • Implemented metrics-based, revenue forecasts which have enabled my teams of development directors, managers and coordinators to focus their attention, week by week and month by month, on the strategies and tactics of most relevance • Elevated opportunities for corporate and grant-funding organizations to provide financial/partnership support for local, community-based mission programs • Identified, recruited and stewarded highly engaged and effective volunteer boards and committees, enabling them to achieve their desired level of involvement and support Show less
