  I was attached to the Engineering & Site Services (ESS) department. • Acquired knowledge about all the utilities provided by ESS to the plant, encompassing the HVAC system, waste water treatment plant (WWTP), 7 substations, 2 boilers, compressors, blowers, and DRF-PnF.• Oversaw the project involving the installation of SMD lighting system coverage under the online UPS DPA 500 (6MW).• Participated in daily DDS meetings to stay updated on defects across various areas. Engaged with on-site operators and engineers to devise effective solutions.• Conducted calculations for boiler efficiency, conducted work-point analyses, and determined the amount of tobacco produced in PMD per kg of steam.• Addressed an ongoing issue involving the identification of NTRM in the DRFs, which resulted in defects in the rotary valves. Collaborated with the ESS and PED teams to identify mechanical faults causing tobacco belts in the maker machines to tear, subsequently leading to their ingestion by the DRF.• Additionally, observed the installation of various valves, the reserve tank, replacement of dosing tank, and the utilization of PLCs for controlling different utilities within the plant.
