      I worked on a variety of software projects for the TENNLab neuromorphic computing group, which researches emerging brain-inspired computing technologies.I led a team of two other researchers in developing a starter kit of microcontroller-based neuromorphic devices; this general-purpose kit is intended to be embedded into real-time custom applications for other researchers or enthusiasts.I also worked on reducing the power consumption of neuromorphic devices by optimizing the spiking neural networks they run to have an average of 15% fewer elements without losing performance.
