  • Supervises the Krasnoff Quality Management Institute’s team of statisticians and database developers who provide decision support for Northwell Health.• Instrumental in the development of the executive leadership Quality Dashboard for Northwell Health. The web-based tool is a kind of digital nervous system that standardizes data collection, data analysis and the reporting of quality and safety indicators, so that all hospital across the System can effectively and efficiently monitor care across organizations as well as share best practices.• Provides analytical and statistical support for a number of research and quality initiatives. • Involved in the development and retrieval of data from Inpatient and Outpatient Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Systems, including interfacing with different electronic data sources and merging data into one centralized data warehouse. Data is intelligently organized to enable information to be easily analyzed and used for decision support. • Critical involvement with the Heal 10 OB-GYN program evaluation project. • Able to interface with different departments and IT systems and pull together a set of measures that the clinical departments will use to assess the appropriate use of the EMR in the ambulatory setting.• Assists external clients with any data or reporting needs they have. Some examples include the development of a sophisticated and interactive mortality and morbidity tool for transplant services at a NY State institution, the development of an ambulatory medical record review with automatic selection of random records, diabetes dashboards.• Oversees the development of the Krasnoff Quality Management Institute curriculum for on-line education. Curriculum is designed for medical residents and includes a fundamental module in quality management (RCA, PDSA, Public reporting) and an advanced module in statistics.
