  City Leadership Corps, Director

  The City Leadership Corps aims to bring people from the San Francisco, Berkeley and Oakland together to work on projects related to community service, social justice and sustainability. In addition, participants learn how the benefits of a consistent yoga and meditation practice enhances and stabilizes one's ability to be an effective and compassionate citizen. To this end, Fellows apply to take a series of free courses through the Art of Living Foundation and work together to develop specific projects to serve in the community. Fellows meet once week to meditate, discuss service projects and learn how yoga philosophy enhances everyday life. In addition, each fellow must complete at least 20 hours of community service per month to maintain active status in the program.
