  I worked as a construction crew leader to expand the organization's volunteer capacity. I would lead volunteers through the process of building a house, teaching them how to use hand and power tools as well as how to complete assigned duties. I completed several new construction projects, with a focus on building energy efficient houses, and multiple repair or renovation projects. In addition, I was responsible for purchasing non-bulk materials when there was a shortage.

  I worked as a construction crew leader to expand the organization's construction capacity. I led over 300 volunteers on a range of projects. I worked on eleven repair projects with tasks ranging from patching holes in the walls, adding a new coat of paint, ripping out the old flooring, to completely gutting the interior and installing a new interior. In addition, I worked on four new construction projects, including two quadplex townhouses and a triplex townhouse. My duties included showing volunteers how to safely use any of the hand or power tools on site, teaching volunteers how to complete assigned tasks, ensuring there was sufficient material to complete tasks, and keeping the site organized and safety compliant.
