      A six month project was undertaken at Philips Electronics India Ltd on ‘Designing an Electronic Ballast that drives a 28 watt TL5 lamp.’In this project an Electronic Ballast was designed and constructed for use with a fluorescent lamp. The type of fluorescent lamp that was used is TL5 HE 28W tube, because this type is very popular in use for most of the places like home, office, classroom, temples, and café and so on.
