  As a part of Summer Internship program, my team and I developed a Blockchain based E-Voting System titled Blockencuesta. Blockencuesta is a decentralised application for the purpose of voting system.The current voting system has many drawbacks like security, transparency, privacy and tampering.As a solution to these drawbacks, blockchain technology based voting system is the right choice because it is verifiable, decentralised, tamper proof and secured.This project contains- Client Interface designed using html, css, js.- Smart contracts which contains the rules of the election using solidity language- Metamask, a browser extension to connect to local ethereum blockchain and interact with the smart contacts (ie to cast a vote)- Ganache, a local blockchain which contains free accounts with dummy ethers. It also gives complete details about transactions, logs etc- Node.js- Truffle, to build Dapps on the ethereum blockchain. I was responsible for the front end of the project and coding of smart contracts. In addition, I was also responsible for the documentation. Show less
