      CSM Learn is the first learning technology to holistically personalise instruction beyond conventional academic skills. The purpose of this study is to understand the effectiveness of CSM Learn in helping teachers and other professionals in Ghana improve their English literacy, basic math, and problem solving skills in order to further their professional and educational goals. The Leadership Seminar Series is a series of interdisciplinary seminars designed to promote self-awareness among Ashesi’s students and to expose them to the ideas of great historical thinkers and contemporary leaders. Students are asked to think broadly and to explore how they might use the examples set by these leaders to achieve their goals in their future professional lives.

      NubianVR was founded as a Virtual Reality Innovation Company in 2015. My role involved the management of the company's productions and event planning of the company's exhibitions. I also spearheaded the company's budding interest in education technology.

      The Virtual Reality Enthusiast Group is a community of Faculty and Student at Ashesi University keen on researching, innovating and telling stories in Virtual Reality and other new media like Augmented Reality. A collaboration between Ashesi University and the Ford Foundation, the Fund for Service to Children and Youth supports student-driven projects aimed at making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children and youth in Ghana, and seeks to amplify the impact of community service at the university campus. Refugees and Forced Migration in Africa is an inter-disciplinary course which puts a spotlight on significant issues, arising out of the interplay of history, politics, law and economics, which determine the occurrence and direction of forced migration situations on the African continent and elsewhere.

      NubianVR is the first VR company in West Africa. Under my leadership NubianVR has evolved to become a full interactive product company with vast experience designing digital products that enhance playful learning. My responsibilities at NubianVR include charting & implementing the organisation's strategic vision including product roadmaps, fundraising strategy, hiring strategy, go-to-market strategy, sales strategy, partnership & communications strategy. I also lead product development of core NubianVR products such as the Life Skills App & Interactive Storybook. In 2021, to strengthen both NubianVR’s social impact and commercial goals, I led the founding of the Nubian Foundation, the non-for-profit arm of NubianVR. Show less Project Konko is a NubianVR project supported by the UNICEF Innovation Fund aimed at developing an open-source Interactive virtual reality lesson creator. I was responsible for managing NubianVR’s engagement with the UNICEF Innovation Fund from grant application to managing the funding of $98,000 through to end of project reporting. During the project, I also managed a product team consisting of designers, developers, researchers, and creators - i.e. a developer, 3D modeler, voice-over artist & a team of animators. Show less

      Nubian Foundation is the not-for-profit arm of NubianVR; It was set up to drive NubianVR’s research and non-commercial education interests. At Nubian Foundation my core responsibilities include product design and management. I also am responsible for managing the Foundation’s relationships with various governmental agencies and INGO’s such as UNICEF. I currently lead the Foundation’s project with UNICEF Ghana & the Ministry of Education to drive digital literacy with the NubianVR’s Life Skills App. Show less
