  I made 89 appearances in the English Championship for Sedgley Tigers between 2006 and 2009. I then moved to Fylde RUFC and made 105 appearances in National Division 1 and 2. In 2011 I was a member of the squad that gained promotion to National Division 1. I Played two further seasons for Fylde in National Division 1 before retiring from playing at the end of the 2012/13 season.During the seven years I was a semi-pro rugby player I:- Studied for a BA in Sport Coaching- Worked for a year as a Cover Supervisor gaining valuable experience in a school environment- Completed a PGCE in Secondary Physical Education at Liverpool John Moores UniversityDuring the final two years of my playing career I was employed as a full time teacher of PE and Geography at Kirkham Grammar School where I continue to work.
