  At Advanced Programming Resources, I performed two distinct functions. The first was as a billable consultant responsible for successfully completing project assignments utilizing many different technologies for my various clients. The second was as a Site Manager for the company which required me to perform supervisory and human resource tasks for a defined group of individuals within the company that were assigned to a specific client. In the former role I utilized technologies such as Delphi, Visual Basic, Oracle, and other databases and languages. In the latter role, I was responsible for approving time, scheduling vacations, providing feedback and performance reviews, developing personal improvement plans as required, and other managerial tasks.   Worked extensively with the client to define requirements and then translate those requirements into design specifications. Design specifications were in turn evolved into custom screens. The screens and logic were developed and the end result was a new custom application for the application having been evolved through full life cycle.

  Began career at OAOT as a Technical Lead for a team responsible for maintenance and creation of all service, offering, and component information within a major US telecom. Promoted to a Project Manager first with a group of mid-range billing applications for the same major US telecom. Later moved into a new Project Manager role with another major US telecom company. Primary responsibility for projects including interstate movement of data and hardware for various company initiatives, national and international server setups and migrations, and new data centre setup and launch.   Project management of various information technology and telecommunications projects for the government, telecom, and healthcare (among others) sectors. Prior project management experience includes both state and provincial government, and the insurance industry both in Canada and the United States. I am a PMP certified project manager (since 2003) and have served as a Project Management Core Competency Lead. Team building, budget monitor and control, scheduling and planning, and negotiation are all key skills used to deliver positive project results. I recently secured my Six Sigma Green Belt designation.
