      Youth Program Summer VISTA

      Provided daily programming in the areas of Performing Arts and Drama to K-12 youth throughout Our Club's ten-week summer program. Fostered positive perspectives on learning to create a safe and enriching summer experience, with the intention of combating summer learning loss.

      In the Youth Program Specialist role, I wear a number of different "hats" on a daily basis. As a "floater", I primarily act as a flexible source of support for students K-12, stepping in for other staff members and leading activities as needed. In addition to the floater role, I also coordinate Our Club's quarterly literacy assessments, conducting 1-on-1 sessions with a minimum of 60 youth per quarter.
