  After leaving 6th form college, I spent 7 years working at Ernst & Young within the audit department becoming a specialist in automated data analysis. During this time, I worked on wide ranging clients and industries including Cranswick Plc, Smith & Nephew Plc, News International, ABI Caravans, Lincoln Electric, EMIH (The Deep) and Arco.The major roles at Ernst & Young included:Audit Assurance Technician (August 2004 to September 2009) – Responsible for collection of statutory audit evidence for both planning and final audit stages. Continuing development towards leading smaller audits and became office based champion of automated analysis modules.Audit Assurance Executive (October 2009 to March 2010) – Responsible for leading audits on site and dealing with partners, senior managers and key senior client staff. Required to provide audit strategy memorandum and summary review memorandums detailing plans and completed results of audits.Audit Data Analytics Executive (April 2010 to July 2011) – Part of a national team of 10 experts developing the enhanced use of automated data analysis. Responsible for covering Hull, Leeds and Cambridge offices including training of office staff members, assessment of office requirements and delivery of results back to clients. Responsible for a bringing a school leaver into the firm and training them up to act as assistant.
