  I was in charge of the Chrysler and Jeep contracts. I maintained all the UK cars with faults from the factory. These were all the brand new vehicles. I liaised with Tax free car sales in Germany to meet the needs of our armed services sales.

  I started working for Mazda in 1981 as a trainee however, after a six year internal training program. I did a variety of jobs from master technician to training manager. In total I worked for MCL for twenty four years. I really enjoyed the various projects I worked on from testing the new Ford Cosworth to being sub- contracted to working for Chrysler/Jeep.

  I transferred from the Head of Mechanical Engineering to the maths department to tackle the low level disruption. To aid the maths departments pass rates using the zero tolerance expectations I had in the mechanical engineering department.
