  I completed a greatly enjoyable year of experience as a teaching assistant at St. Peter's school, working closely with years 4, 5 and 6. Through my experiences, I realised that my specialties lie within upper key stage two.

  I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Royal School and was able to teach all lessons in the curriculum whilst there. My time at the school allowed me to develop in the 'first school' field, an area which I had not worked in before. It was joyous seeing my class travel off to middle school at the end of my tenure.

  Following a successful placement as a trainee teacher at the Royal School, I was offered and accepted the position of substitute teacher for all year groups until beginning my permanent employment at St. Nicolas School from September 2022. Working at the Royal School has been engaging, fun and an honour.

  Special Education Teacher Experience

  I was fortunate enough to have a work experience opportunity at Chiltern Wood School with primary and secondary aged pupils who experience communication difficulties. It was both challenging and rewarding to become accustomed with the procedures and values of a school devoted to special educational needs.

  I am thoroughly enjoying working as a year 5 teacher at St. Nicolas' school. Every day presents new challenges which test and improve my skills. I am supported by a truly incredible team and am looking forward to what awaits us next.
