  With a business background, an inimitable drive to succeed, and a love for island life and yoga, opening the first Yogen Fruz franchise in the Virgin Islands, complete with my own yoga studio on the second floor was an opportunity to live a dream in paradise. Hiring, team management, inventory management, store hours, graphic design, advertising and promotional events were all part of the rewarding adventure of landing a business on the islands.   Virgin Islands Yoga

  Landing in the Virgin Islands, finding such a minimal yoga and healthy-living community was just not going to do in my new home in paradise. 'I guess i'll just have to create one', was the thought that inspired me let go of the Yogen Fruz franchise and help bring organization and community to some of the rogue yogis on the island, and make it my full-time gig. I started 'Yoga by the Sea', with a group of 4 instructors, putting on organized classes and events all around the island. Concurrently, i created 'Virgin Bubbly', my brand of Kombucha, distributed at yoga classes and select island cafes, giving a healthy and refreshing alternative for beach drinkers. Needing to move on to explore the world, and myself, i partnered with another highly driven and open-hearted yogi and friend with the same goal who was starting a community yoga website. From there we created www.virginislandsyoga.com, a community of instructors and friends, hosting all that is in the spirit of yoga on the Virgin islands. Kicking it off with the first ever Virgin Islands Yoga festival in 2015, now hosted annually, we continue to offer retreats, classes and events in paradise, in between traveling and exploring the world of yoga.
