Designed Version 2 of the EDA wearable sensor PCB using Autodesk Eagle, addressing all errors from Version 1 to ensure improved functionality and reliability. Finalized and enhanced the firmware, integrating a FAT file system for efficient sensor data storage. Enabled seamless data transfer via BLE, incorporating a Command Line Interface (CLI) for dynamic hardware configuration through ASCII commands sent over BLE. Researched and selected Ag/AgCl electrodes, optimizing placement for accurate EDA signal measurement. Designed multiple versions of the wearable casing using Autodesk Fusion, focusing on aesthetics, durability, and usability. Show less Advanced from breadboard to PCB design for my wearable GSR/EDA device, designing the board in Autodesk Eagle and fabricating it with all necessary sensors and components. During system testing, I encountered a critical power issue preventing firmware flashing via Segger JTAG due to the MCU’s power configuration. Through iterative wiring adjustments and power testing on the integrated setup, I identified the root cause and implemented a workaround, ensuring stable power delivery to the MCU. This troubleshooting informed the revisions for version 2 of my board design, optimizing it for reliable flashing and overall performance. Show less Led the design and prototyping of a wearable device for real-time GSR/EDA measurement, leveraging a novel bio-impedance sensor for enhanced data accuracy. My work involved a rigorous analysis of power management solutions, identifying and testing optimal PMICs to support efficient power usage in wearable applications. I also conducted a comprehensive evaluation of various storage solutions to ensure reliable, high-speed data capture and retrieval. All development and testing were conducted on a custom breadboard setup, laying the groundwork for the device’s transition to a wearable format. Show less
