  At SFPD, I lead a diverse team through briefings at the beginning of eachwatch and direct team members to known hot spots of criminal activity. Icommand multiple watches with 12-15 officers, per watch and actively patrolassigned areas, engage with community members. I collaborate withinvestigators to solve cases and obtain convictions. I drive results,serving as SFPD Subject Matter Expert on the Laws of Arrest, Search andSeizure, and Constitutional Law. I consult and advise on policy developmentand revision. I write police reports related to criminal activity andmemorandums to superiors, including commending patrol officers for excellentwork. I review and approved subordinate police reports. My contributionsinclude:• Acted as Project Manager for the SFPD/DOJ Collaborative Reform Initiativeand wrote the plan of action to correct compliance issues for multipledeficiencies found by the US Department of Justice.• Consistently rated as a top SFPD Academy Instructor in multiple subjects,including the Laws of Arrest, Constitutional Law, the Criminal JusticeSystem, Presentation of Evidence, and Report Writing.• Conducted administrative investigations on subordinates who use force on asubject or commit violations of department policy. I conduct legal research on applicablestatutes, case law, and SFPD policy and coordinate with SFPOA Legal DefenseAttorneys in cases that involve potential criminal violations.
