  NuBioq is a student-run club to promote Biochemistry as a field and enhance its students’ academic life with various outreach activities. Within the club, I’m also the coordinator of the design and communication department. In the context of my Bachelor's Degree, I worked on a project focused on the Craft Beer market, at the Yeasts Genomics Lab, at FCT NOVA. My project was entitled "New Yeasts - Evaluation of the Brewing Potential of Saccharomyces Yeasts" and resulted in the discovery of four yeast strains with market potential. The Biochemistry JorTec is an annual event organized by students. It’s composed of a day of lectures and a week of workshops from professors and researchers from the entire country.
