  As a Relationship Manager at the City University of Hong Kong, I had the opportunity to work on an impactful inter-institutional education project called CoolThink@JC. This initiative was funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and co-created by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The Education University of Hong Kong, and the City University of Hong Kong. Aimed to inspire students to utilize digital creativity in their daily lives and prepare them for future challenges across all fields, this project focused on higher-level skills such as problem-solving and computing applications. In contrast to more technical programming skills, these broader capabilities are fundamental across all disciplines. The project involved scientific evaluation of its impact on student outcomes and refinement of its pedagogy and curricular materials based on evidence and educator feedback.- Act as a relationship manager to coordinate co-teaching support for coding classes in schools; support parent education; responsible for recruiting a team of hundreds of part-time university student helpers as Teaching Assistants (TAs), design and offer training for the team of TAs, manage and supervise them as well as evaluate their performance; and perform any other duties as assigned;- Oversee the liaison with local schools and internship allocations to ensure high-quality and timely co-teaching support for partnering institutions;- Manage recruitment, screening and nomination of 500+ yearlong part-time interns with a scale of engaging 18+ higher education institutions;- Assist in developing and implementing retention strategies for both full-time and part-time interns, including compensation and benefits, performance management, talent development and employee engagement Show less
