      SW Test Engineer

      I worked with Apppoint from April 2013 to March 2016 as SW Test Engineer .Have been part of testing teams associated with different clients working on the STLC phases as per defined test plans.My responsibilities primarily consisted of preparing functional test cases using requirement documents provided by development team.Creating set of test cases for sanity testing.Manual execution of test cases for key features of the product.Creating database queries and checking back end components.Filing bugs for the failed test cases and tracking them throughout the defect life cycle until the defects gets closed.After the code is delivered for UAT then my responsibilities consist of helping the UAT team get resolve the UAT defects and doing the RCA for missed defects.Sharing the testing status reports on daily basis with the client and my superiors.My role consists of ensuring all the testing activities for my module from test case designing,execution.defect logging,defect tracking,test reports and successful release to make sure a high quality code in deployed in production.Also participated in retrospect meetings after every release to ensure that the mistakes from each releases are not repeated in next release and the good things are continued in next releases.
